Meta-analysis confirms effectiveness of GAIA’s digital therapy

A meta-analysis of GAIA’s digital therapy for depression (deprexis) has been published in the latest issue of the peer-reviewed scientific journal Psychiatry Research. First-authored by Dr. Conal Twomey from the University College Dublin, the meta-analysis included 8 randomized controlled trials (RCTs) with more than 2400 patients. The results showed robust effectiveness of our therapy software, no publication bias, no difference between developer-led versus independent studies, and a low drop-out rate. Of note, the treatment effects were not confounded by therapeutic support, as is often the case in other studies. This meta-analysis not only confirms the effectiveness of our approach but also demonstrates our commitment to develop sustainable interventions that perform effectively and reliably over decades, not just in a few studies. Our growing portfolio showcases the expertise we have honed for more than two decades, as we have developed effective digital interventions for mood and anxiety disorders, neurological and autoimmune diseases, and many other conditions that require novel and effective treatment approaches.
